Mrs. Kelly's Home Page

My name is Charlotte Kelly and I am a Special Education teacher at Seminole County Elementary. I obtained my Master's Degree in Special Education from Auburn University and my Educational Specialist degree in Special Education from Troy State University. I taught for Houston County Schools System for thirty years before making SCES my home for the last ten years. I have been married to my better half, Bill Kelly, for thirty-seven years. I have two beautiful children - Beth Neal and Neil Kelly. I also have two beautifully spoiled grandchildren - Griffin and Carter.

What we are working on:

My resource room uses a comprehensive curriculum that is an online, interactive, and standards-based curriculum specifically designed for students with special needs. The unit lesson plans define three levels of differentiated tasks which accommodate the diversity of learners in my room. We also use N2Y to bridge between standards and curriculum contents for students with special needs. Instructional Targets are aligned to State Educational Standards. Monthly lessons and materials are delivered that address critical skills in reading, writing, math, science and social studies. During the year I will tell you about many of the other program features.

        • If your family drinks Capri Suns or "drink pouch" juices, after drinking all the juice out of the pouches, PLEASE SAVE THEM and bring them with your student(s).
